Beach Cruiser?

i just bought a used beach cruiser and i was wondering if it's possible to sand the paint that is chipping and ugly and spray paint it with a flat black. is that possible? will it stay or chip away??

1. That is possible. Check with the guy at the paint store on how to prep it so it won't chip, definitely need to sand it may need a primer coat B4 the flat black>
